Summary

Qinghe Voice Calculator has no accounts, no ads, no third-party SDKs, and no cross-app tracking. Your calculation history and settings stay on your device only.

To turn your speech into an equation, audio is handled by Apple's speech recognition service (in some cases audio is sent to Apple's servers, which may be located outside your country or region). We never receive, store, or link your audio.

1. Information We Handle

1.1 Processed and stored only on your device

None of the above includes your name, phone number, account, location, contacts, or photos, and we do not read IDFA or IDFV.

1.2 Information that leaves your device when you use certain features

(a) Speech recognition (important)

• When you tap the microphone, the app uses Apple's system Speech framework (SFSpeechRecognizer).
• Audio is processed by Apple's speech recognition service. To transcribe your words, audio may be sent to Apple's servers (which may be outside your country or region, for example in the United States).
• We (the developer) never receive, store, retain, or access your audio. The resulting transcript is used only on your device to build the equation, perform the calculation, and — if enabled — save history.
• Apple's handling of speech data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
• You may deny microphone and speech recognition permission, or turn it off anytime in Settings. Keyboard calculation remains fully available; only voice input is unavailable.

(b) Exchange rates

• When you use currency conversion, the app requests public exchange-rate data from https://open.er-api.com and https://api.frankfurter.dev.
• Requests contain only currency codes and no personal information. These services are operated by third parties and are governed by their own privacy policies.

(c) App Store lookup

• To show the rating entry point and version information, the app queries public App Store metadata at https://itunes.apple.com/lookup. No personal information is sent.

(d) Purchases and subscriptions

• Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Apple's App Store. We do not receive your payment details (such as card numbers). We only receive from Apple whether a purchase or subscription is active, in order to unlock membership features. Transaction records are held by Apple.
• Restoring purchases asks Apple for your transaction history so your entitlement can be restored.

2. What We Never Do

• No registration, and we do not collect account, phone number, or email;
• We do not collect location, contacts, photos, or clipboard contents, and do not read IDFA/IDFV;
• We integrate no third-party advertising or analytics SDK and perform no cross-app or cross-site tracking (NSPrivacyTracking = false in our privacy manifest);
• We do not use your history, settings, or transcripts for advertising, and we never sell or share them with third parties;
• We never upload audio to our own servers — we do not operate any server.

3. Permissions

4. Retention and Deletion

• Local data stays on your device until you delete it in the app or uninstall the app;
• History: delete individual entries or clear all in the History screen;
• All data: uninstalling the app removes it together with the app sandbox;
• Audio: we never store audio, so there is nothing on our side to delete. To request deletion of data held by Apple, please use Apple's privacy channels.

5. Children

This is a general-purpose tool (rated 4+) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a guardian in mainland China and believe we have processed personal information of a child under 14, contact dairu@qq.com and we will investigate and delete it promptly.

6. Your Rights

• Access and correction: all your data is on your device and can be viewed or edited directly in the app;
• Deletion: see section 4;
• Withdraw consent: disable microphone/speech permission in system Settings to withdraw your consent to speech processing; other features keep working;
• Other rights: if you are in mainland China, the EEA (GDPR), California (CCPA/CPRA), or another jurisdiction, you may exercise rights of access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, and objection by writing to dairu@qq.com. We will respond within the period required by law.
• We do not sell personal information (as "sale" is defined under the CCPA).

7. International Transfers

Audio is processed by Apple's speech recognition service and may be transferred outside your country or region (including to the United States). That processing is carried out by Apple as a service provider under Apple's Privacy Policy. Apart from this, we do not transfer personal information internationally.

• We process personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL) and the Cybersecurity Law of the People's Republic of China. Our legal basis for processing speech (sensitive personal information) is your separate consent, given when you actively grant microphone and speech recognition permission in the system prompt.
• Data is stored locally on your device. Speech recognition is provided by Apple and may involve a cross-border transfer, which we disclose through the system permission prompt before voice input is first used.
• A child under 14 should use this app only with guardian consent.

9. Security

We protect your information through the system sandbox, least-privilege permissions, and by never writing audio to disk. Please understand that no technical measure can guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the effective date and provide notice in the app or on the App Store page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
